Just finished watching it on Netflix. Surprisingly good Slice of Life/Comedy. Honestly one of the best I've seen in while that did not rely on ecchi or harem additives to enhance. Highly recommended !!!

Being that this is a series they've broken up into seasons, one of the problems with animating might be they don't have enough source material.

I'm just now getting into it, because I loved full metal alchemist so I thought I would check out the author's other work.

Being that season 2 ended 3 years ago, they might barely have enough for a third season now. But if the Manga is closer to being finished, they might also be waiting for it to end to animate it, much like attack on titan.

Manga sales are important of course, but dvd sales are as well. That's how they decide if they are going to animate the next jojo's bizarre adventure. Stardust crusaders sold very well, so they animated diamond is unbreakable.

Yes a license has been acquired for the third season, but we won't be hearing an announcement date till late 2018 or early 2019! Sorry for the very late 2 year response.

the rights were just purchased by a new company so probably in the next few years we will see a reboot or 3rd season.

Well, I don't know if i'm on time yet, but the anime finished at chapter 75 of the manga. However, it has been announced since July that the manga will enter on Hiatus.

As a huge slice of life anime fan the anime feels so unfinished i was looking for mikage and hachiken to do there thing , see what hachiken would when older ,ext ext .

man, the wait continues, the manga has long sense been over and still no news so I think it's safe to say it simply won't happen. I'll be glad if it does of course but after waiting this long I think I'll just start buying the volumes now so I can finish. Good luck to all who choose to continue to wait

Just read the manga -- such an anime will never get a new season because studios are busy making Isekai and people are more into action shit. As someone stated in this thread -- you need fan-service as well to promote animes.

At this point I think we should just give up
